The Village Development and Empowerment Holistic Program (PHP2D) is one of the programs organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia as a form of commitment to advancing the village. The Agrotechnology Student Association (HIMAGRO) is one of the student organizations that has the opportunity to take part in this activity with the topic of Increasing the Economic Value of Corn Producing Villages by Utilizing Corn Waste as a Media for Growing White Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus Ostreatus) and receiving grant funds. This activity was chaired by Ilham Hidayat (178210047) and attended by all HIMAGRO members with accompanying lecturers (Indah Apriliya, SP, M.Si).
The first program will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10:00 to finish. The first activity was carried out in collaboration with the Lecturer Team of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area to assist in explaining the theory of White Oyster Mushroom Cultivation and Care Techniques to the community in Desai Sei Rotan. This activity is carried out in accordance with the Covid-19 Health Protocol with no more than 15 participants.
